Context
Collaborative responses to calls for proposals can often lead to significant cognitive waste. The goal of this method, developed within the framework of Innosuisse's Innobooster project, is to capture collective intelligence before it evaporates and to involve participants in an open innovation process to develop innovative and sustainable ideas. This approach also allows for enjoying the articulation of ideas and creating alliances with new partners.
Procedural problems and solutions
To avoid common problems when collaborating to respond to a call for proposals, this method offers the following solutions:
A. Call summary: Create a summary of key documents to facilitate understanding and exchanges within the team. This helps to avoid comprehension gaps. example : IB: Guide for applicants (Abstract) and IB: Mission and Guiding Principles (Abstract)
B. Documentation and dissemination of collective intelligence: Document and disseminate information in real-time, synchronizing by email and asynchronously on a collaborative platform like the one for our IB;
C. Respect for the work of others: Add contributions without deleting those of others and understand the role of the final coordinator, acting as a "benevolent dictator."
D. Avoid endless modifications: Do not get lost in the details and style, and focus on the important content for evaluators. This helps prevent co-author fatigue and a decline in text quality.
